BSA Troop # 519

About Troop 519 – Allentown, PA

Troop 519 is proud to be a trailblazer in Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America). In 2019, when the BSA program officially welcomed girl troops, we became the first female troop in the region—paving the way for a new generation of leaders in Scouting.

We are an active and growing troop of about 40 Scouts, meeting every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. Our program emphasizes outdoor adventure, community service, leadership development, and personal growth. From camping, hiking, and high-adventure activities to rank advancement and service projects, our Scouts stay engaged and challenged year-round.

At Troop 519, inclusion is at the heart of who we are. We are an all-inclusive troop that accepts Scouts for who they are, with no judgment. Every Scout has the opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive in a supportive environment built on the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

We are proud of our pioneering spirit, our strong community, and the legacy we are building—one Scout at a time.
